Ground Zero Mosque
Dearest New Yorkers,
As an Afghan American I will feel such a tremendous sense of healing when this center is built. New York city is my favorite city in the whole world. I have such a deep deep love for your city. I truly believe that the building of this mosque at ground zero will bring about peace and harmony. It will continue our tradition as a nation that embraces all religions and races equally. It will be such a noble act of tolerance and forgiveness. 9/11 completely changed my life. It was a catalyst for all of the art that I have made since that day.
